Spray roses regularly for pests and diseases.
- Plant baskets and pots for summer colour and grow on in greenhouse
- Remove spring bedding and prepare beds for summer bedding
- Prune spring flowering shrubs after flowering
- Alpine plants such as Aubretia and Alyssum can be trimmed after flowering to keep them compact
- Prune Clematis montanas once they have finished flowering
- Harden of young plants by putting them outside during the day
